Inside the castle walls, students return to the familiar routine of the school year; 9am classes, and dorm room gossip, while outside the castle walls the world becomes more and more unpredictable. War is looming. Terror is lurking. Fear is waiting. And one man can not keep reality from breaching the walls... Now everyone is being pressured to pick sides...
Each year, it is the job of the Hogwarts Prefects and Head Students to plan and organize events around the school.
This Halloween, they have opted for a Haunted House experience on the grounds!
Upon exiting the castle, you will be greeted by a low lying fog, separating into a clear path
that leads you to a dilapidated house, with the trees of the Forbidden forest looming behind it.
Many horrors await you inside of the Haunted House of Horrors!
There is, of course, a catch! The Marauders (courtesy of the fact that James and Remus have been involved in the planning!)
have taken this opportunity to add a few extra tricks, treats, and scares to the house, so tread carefully within.
This is, optionally, a dice game to keep things exciting! More info will be provided.
Giant Pumpkin Carving!
It simply wouldn't be Halloween without Hagrid's giant pumpkins! This year, however, it's up to the students to get
involved in carving some pumpkins up. Battle through the fog and make your way to the Gamekeeper's Hut - you'll
recognize it for it's orange glow. All the tools and carving equpitment you need are waiting for you, so don't
miss your chance to create a pumpkin masterpiece!
Candy Costume Party!
Halloween requires costumes. It also requires sweets and candy. Therefore, it's only right we throw a candy costume party!
This year, Honeydukes are providing the treats - all of your familiar favorites and a few new, slightly bizarre ones
to try out.
Slugs, Bugs, Warts, and Bones, whether you want a Slimy Slug Sour, or a Freaky Finger Fruit Pop, Honeydukes
has provided everything your could ask for!
So put on your best costume and work up a sweet tooth, then join us in the Great Hall for a Sugar and Spice,
All Things Scary and Nice Candy Costume Dance!
Archie Peter Llewellyn 13 - Third Year - Hufflepuff
Prefers Archie to Archibald. Sounds too formal. He's jumpy and generally energetic. Naturally quiet, very shy, a control freak, a note taker and attentive, sweet and friendly and helpful, kind of forgetful.
Archie's friends would probably be able to get him to talk, so most of them would probably be pretty persistent people. He prefers a small group that's close to him rather than a large group who talk to him occasionally, so he'd probably like to spend as much time with them as he can once he considers them friends. He still misses the two best friends back home in Aberdeen.
Being a control freak, Archie might annoy several people with his OCDness. If people dislike quiet people, then that would probably annoy a few people. Archie is far more powerful and aggressive than he look - just look at the meaning behind the wand he weilds. You just have to provoke him in the right way. Going after his friends is one way to do this. He's likely to have a few enemies.
Being thirteen, Archie doesn't really know where he's going. He likes to think some girls are pretty cute and occasionally he'll notice a guy or two, but he honestly doesn't know what he thinks, but I am so up for plots.
I can't wait to jump in with you guys ^^
HIS APP template made by melly welly of caution 2.0
Who goes to bed at 2:45am when there are plot pages to be filled? Pft!
James Potter~ 7th Year, Head Boy, Quidditch Captain, Marauder James is a lot more mature now than what he has been in previous years but he still joins in pranks with his fellow Marauders. He's starting to see exams as more important, as well as getting to know people outside of just his room mates. He pays a lot more attention to those around him, and he's now much more likely to stand up for another student than join in with the teasing, like he might have been prone to in the past. He's also spending more time in the library studying, and has no objection to helping others who need it.
Raphael Dane~ 6th Year, Fun, In-denial alcoholic, Quidditch Player Raphael spends most of his time with a bottle of something or other at hand, and the majority of his time getting wasted. But, he's in denial about the fact that he has a problem with drinking. He doesn't do things to be intentionally mean - he loves being happy and carefree too much, though he does occasionally find it fun to wind up studious Ravenclaws in the library. If he came across Archie he'd talk to him, possibly tease him in a fun way, and may even offer to share alcohol before remembering he's only thirteen!
Dominique Keys~ 5th Year, Fake, B*tch, Sleep around, Bully(ish) Everything that Dominique lets people see is just a lit. She acts the way she feels that she has to act, even though it's not true to her at all. She's spent her entire life being compared to her older sister and never meeting her family's standards of perfection, so she does what she has to do to come across and confident to the point of cruel to keep a reputation around the school. She'll bully someone if she feels it's to her advantage to do so, but she probably doesn't want to be doing it. She's a nice, decent person underneath the mask she puts on.
CJ Warren~ 4th Year, Quidditch Player, Fitness Fanatic, 'Cool' Kid CJ wants to be 'down with the cool kids', but he's also the kid that's come into his fourth year with a very strict schedule planned out for when he's going to work out, practice Quidditch, do homework, revise, and read ahead in classes, and he's determined to stick to his schedule as much as he can. He's at the age where he's obsessed with girls and fitness, but also his studies. He won't accept anything less than perfection, and he's got big ambtions. CJ is the sort to turn up to geeky clubs like Chess Club, then threaten anyone who tries to tell others that he does something so 'uncool'.
Ryan Olsen~ 4th Year, Gender Queer, Reserved, Self-Harmer Ryan was born female but does not identify as such. He prefers male pronouns and a male name, as well as male dress. He calls himself gender queer or gender fluid, and is reluctant to use the term transgender because of the social stigma attached to it. He's closed off a shows people the cold shoulder until he knows they're not going to make fun of him or disrespect his gender identity. A lot of people refuse to call him Ryan or use the right pronouns. Ryan, despite being fourteen, has discovered that alcohol, cigarettes, and self-harm make for excellent coping mechanisms to get through day to day life, especially on days when his dysphoria are threatening to overwhelm him.
Georgina Parkinson~ 1st Year, Bad-to-the-bone, Manipulative Georgina is one of those kids who was just born bad. As a toddler she was destructive and laughed at others getting turn, and the more her parents tried to fit her the more she rebelled, spending most of her days on the streets with a gang of older kids, often helping them with petty crimes like theft, because who would suspect those big eyes of anything untoward? She's cruel and manipulative, and is known for inflicting pain on animals and enjoying, and she's already aspiring to be a death eater. This kid is way too evil.
Sven Zalenski~ 900+ Vampire, Legilimens, Airline Owner, Open Sven is over 900 years old, after become a vampire in his early 30s. He was highly skilled in Legilimency before he was turned and has since worked further on his skill. He's done a bit of everything and loves new experiences. At current, he runs a muggle airline in London, but he's growing interested in other things, like teaching, so he's starting to spend time around Hogsmeade on weekends that the school is there to see whether he's interested in teaching that age group. He likes new experiences and meeting new people, but he can be stubborn, old fashioned, and numerous other not so good things.
James/Archie Archie would probably recognize him because of how big he is. Maybe see him in the library occasionally, but I don't know about James knowing his name or anything. Archie likes to keep his head down.
Raphael/Archie The fact that they're in the same house, they will definitely know each other. Raphael can definitely do those things, though how Archie reacts I don't know. The whole offering of the drink will throw him off.
Dominique/Archie I don't know if these two would even recognize each other in the hallways. Archie is definitely bullied material, but I'm not sure how it would be to her advantage to bully the shy, third year, muggleborn. Well, maybe other than the muggleborn part.
CJ/Archie Archie's only a year younger than him, so there's a chance they'd know each other. Archie might run into him in the library. If he found out about anything geeky CJ did, he'd just give him looks that said 'I know' but would never say something aloud. Though, that would most likely only be if he feels comfortable around CJ. He's still afraid he might get hurt if he even so much as teases someone.
Ryan/Archie Since Archie is a year younger than Ryan, he probably wouldn't know he was gender fluid unless told. He's sort of living in fear that insulting someone will get him beat up. I'm considering joining that open thread you have ^^
Georgina/Archie This would be an odd thread if it were to take place. Georgina, being a bad kid, and Archie, being a shy and good kid. He wouldn't know how to handle a younger year being so cruel.
Sven/Archie The fact that Archie is a third year means he can go to Hogsmeade, his parents signed the form. So he might run into Sven there.

Hello, welcome to the site! :3 I'm going to try to make this short but still coherent because I'm about to pass out from exhaustion, so here goes!
Archie and Sirius There's a big age and house difference, but that never stops Sirius from talking nothing does. He's extremely if not overly outgoing, and coming upon a shy/quiet person only encourages him. He likes to drag people out of their shells kicking and screaming and to be honest, he likes to be the bad influence. Partying, skipping class, sneaking out - he'll encourage all of it. As open and accepting as he is, Sirius has also been known to be a bit of a school bully: mostly, it's just creative, humiliating, sometimes painful pranks, but if you get on his bad side they can get vindictive. I don't see why Archie would be, though.
Archie and Addie Addie is a sixth-year muggleborn Gryffindor, your big-sister type. She'll party and go wild with you, but also sit down and talk through your problems. She's big on helping others, and aspires to be a Healer specializing in psychological trauma/disorders. Most of the time, she's extremely friendly and all smiles, but she does have a case of schizophrenia and anxiety, which can get worked up every now and then. I wouldn't expect her and Archie to interact all that much, but she would certainly be friendly if they do!
Archie and Dex Dex is just a year older than Archie, a Ravenclaw, Seeker on the Quidditch team. He's never really known how to make and sustain friendships, so he's terribly socially awkward, uncertain, shy. He much prefers the company of books to people, because a lot of time his interaction with people involves getting bullied, and he doesn't stand up for himself. I think he and Archie would get along quite well, but considering they're both the quiet types, it might take something to get them to start conversation.
Archie and Charlie Charlie's an adult, a vampire, a Death Eater. He's been far removed from wizarding society for many years now, and he's only just getting back involved in the world to do Death Eater things. Honestly though, blood status doesn't trouble him too much - it's people in general that irk him. Despite this, he can be pretty talkative, fairly outgoing, he just isn't too trusting.
James/Archie Yeah, James probably wouldn't know him by name, but in the write situation he would pay attention to the younger student, even if it's just him looking frustrated at his work in the library
Raphael/Archie It's just typical Raphael, really. Act first, think later. And the more he's drank, the less he thinks. It could be funny to see how it plays out at some point.
Dominique/Archie Dominique probably wouldn't pay him much attention... Not even because he's a muggleborn, unless for some reason she was around a group of people and felt like picking on him for being one was an advantage when around those people... She doesn't really care for blood rivalry, and actually secretly likes a lot of muggle things, especially fairy lights.
CJ/Archie The library or one of the study areas seems a likely place for a run-in. CJ will help other students if they need it, though in a lot of ways it's all for a greater cause - he's working on getting that prefect's badge next year. Does Archie go to any of the clubs? I could picture CJ trying to get him to go along to one as a way of getting involved with people, or something like that.
Ryan/Archie If Archie didn't pay much attention to other students during his first year, then yeah, makes sense he wouldn't know. For a while Ryan didn't have a whole lot of control, and it wasn't until mid-third year that he really flipped out on people and refused to be anything other than Ryan. He was stuck as Araya for too long for his liking. Damn parents. I saw you did join the thread <3 Imma go reply to that just now.
Georgina/Archie Georgie would probably worse towards him not just for being muggle born, but for being a Hufflepuff. Like... what even is a Hufflepuff? Ew!
Sven/Archie If Archie was on his own and looked like he wasn't part of the mainstream crowd of chattering students, then Sven would probably approach him out of curiosity or something.
Sirius/Archie Archie is alone most of the time, so there's a likely chance Sirius would run into him, depending one where he was. Being shy, Sirius would obviously be encouraged to talk more XD Archie would be a little surprised at the fact that a popular-ish seventh year Gryffindor of all people was talking to him. And, yes, he would probably not be on Sirius' bad side.
Addie/Archie She sounds very nice ^^ Yeah, they probably wouldn't interact too much, but if they did then I can see them being friendly ^^
Dex/Archie Archie and Dex would probably get along, yeah. But you're right about the shy having trouble talking. I've had plenty of threads with two shy people and it's really hard. We'd have to come up with something crazy to get them to actually start talking to each other...
Charlie/Archie I don't know when they'd interact much, but there could be the possibility for a tiny chat between them if they ever do get to the point of talking.
James/Archie Okalee dokalee ^^ Well, if I make an open thread with Archie being frustrated about DADA or something, James can feel free to jump in, but I don't really think planning a thread is too necessary
Raphael/Archie Yeah, it could be fun at some point ^^ Archie would be a little overwhelmed
Dominique/Archie Alright, so Dominique would probably not even know he existed unless he approached her. Which would never happen.
Ryan/Archie Yeah, mid third year for Ryan would be mid second year for Archie, and at that point he was still turning away when he passed people. And since they already are in a thread together, then we can just push this to the side ^^
Georgina/Archie Haha XD So if they were ever to run into each other and she was to find out that he was a muggleborn, Archie would be in some trouble? XD
Sven/Archie That's Archie for ya ^^ So, yeah, they'd probably talk a little
