AUGUSTUS ROOKWOOD
Little About Him:
Augustus appears affable, trustworthy and charming, he seems like he’s everything but a Death Eater, unfortunately that would be false. In many ways he is what he appears to be, a fun, good and understanding person, but he only shows his true self to close loved ones or people he truly trusts. Yes, he acts and he’s a complete fake to most of his ‘friends’ and acquaintances, he pretends he cares but in truth he doesn't. In a lot of ways he is himself even when he’s pretending; it’s just the honesty in his actions that are misleading. Augustus does this to gain your trust and to avoid suspicion.
Behind his act he truly despises the idea of muggles living in the magical world, however, unlike Voldemort he doesn't believe they should all be killed etc. Not a fan of cruelty or violence he only wishes they would stay in their world and not invade his, he joined the Death Eaters under the impression that this is what their goal was. Yet to be disappointed he still believes his doing the right thing, but to be safe he always plans ahead and assures he has leverage over the other. Knowledge is power.
Love Interest:
Never the boy to look at girls, ask them on a date or write them a cheesy letter, but the boy who had a secret, a flaw as he believes. Being attracted to the same gender has been a challenge over the years, he believes it’s impure, that it makes him a failure and therefore he fell into denial, claiming to be asexual as everybody assumed. In truth he does look, he does think and he does, like any normal person, want it, but he pushes the thought away as soon as he realizes it’s there.
It could be fun to challenge this. Open for ideas.
Friends:
A fun, trustworthy person was never said to be bad company. August appears to be quite the friend, he’s everything that will win you over, gain your trust and most importantly, make you believe he’s a friend. Most of this would be him faking his way through, avoiding suspicion and gathering information that might be valuable. To an acquaintance, a ‘friend’, or maybe even a passerby, he would seem neutral like his family. No sides and no problems with muggles.

If you know him well enough, or you might be a fellow Death Eater, you’d know all of the above are lies or half true. As for friends he completely trusts, which he currently has none of, he would slowly open up and truly be the person everybody thinks he is with a few altered details.
Enemies:
I’m not entirely sure if there are people who would consider him an enemy since he adapts to the other’s personality. However, he would definitely have some, because who doesn't? Those who call him a friend might be an enemy to him. I’m open to ideas here!
Plots involving family or anything not mentioned above welcome!
