She was Head Girl! She was Quidditch Captain! This year was going to be so amazing she could just feel it deep down. It was just.... incredible! Head Girl and Quidditch Captain? She was so excited and she was sure she hadn't come down from cloud nine since the minute she opened her letter and two badges fell out. She was bouncing off the ceiling even more than she had been two years ago when she'd first received her prefects badge. This was all so exciting!!!

Gwen had hurried her sisters up that morning and she'd been so excited about going back to school that she'd been at the train station almost forty minutes early, where there were only a few students around, but she recognized the look of a first year whens she saw one. She wasted no time in ditching her bags and headed back to the other side of the wall that separated Platform 9 3/4 from the rest of King's Cross, and she looked around excitedly, trying to spot new students. What she was really looking out for, were muggleborns, because she knew how hard it could be to find a platform that didn't seem to exist. Just being there and helping first years onto the platform she just felt... amazing! She was loving this school year already!

As 11am drew closer, Gwen headed for the train, stopping to chatter excitedly to a few people here and there, but her ultimate goal was to find her way down to the prefect's carriage and see which new faces made it into there this year. She already knew who the Head Boy was, and she couldn't wait to see him again, either. Ooh, she was positive she was about to burst with all this excitement!
