Over
a thousand years ago, the four greatest witches and wizards of the age
shared a dream, to create a school where young people of the wizarding
world could study and be trained in the magical arts they needed to
become skilled, fully-trained wizards. These four great wizards each
founded one of the Houses of the school that they worked together to
form: Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
Now decades
later, the rift between Gryffindors and Slytherins has come to a boiling
point. Even the Ravenclaws and Hufflepuffs have joined in the action of
ridiculing the ambitious Slytherins. But even so, the amity between the
Gryffindors, Ravenclaws, and Hufflepuffs is starting to head south of
the line. The Founders’ Challenge is what the Hogwarts Staff has
considered to be the best solution for the immature rifts between the
four houses. Seen as a befitting way to help repair an extensive amount
of damage that has accumulated over the ages in a time that is on the
verge of a dark and deadly magical war. However, the students are not
too keen on making nice and strengthening the extremely weaken bonds
that were once unbreakable. Oh no, the students want absolutely nothing
to do with one another on that large of a scale; especially the elite
Slytherins. But they will soon enough see that the Hogwarts Staff is not
taking ‘No’ for an answer.
Three champions from each of the
four houses; all from different years; will be chosen at random to be
resorted by the Sorting Hat and placed into the second choice house, but
not base on family status; blood status; and personality alone. All are
expected to follow and live up to the regulations and expectations
imposed upon them by their new house and housemates for three months.
All of this while earning points for their own original house.
Who
will survive the three month trials and give their house the advantage
of winning the House Cup for the year? Which students will crack under
pressure and come out with a new sense of self; whether it be for the
best or for the worst? Do you dare to take it upon yourself to take on
the challenge?
