Raphael is tall and muscular from years of Quidditch. He's always on the move, which helps, too. He's a bit of a narcissist and likes to show off his Quidditch body and thinks it deserves to be seen. He's especially fond of his abs, and despite his excessive consumption of alcohol, he doesn't have any sign of a beer belly. He has a habit of showing off and flexing, especially at the end of Quidditch matches, and he's often seen without a shirt on.
He's rarely seen without a grin on his face and a mischievous spark in his eyes. If you see him looking any other way, it probably just means he's hungover, but if he really looks down, it means he really is. He hates not being happy so things spiral out of control when they get bad for him and it shows.

Fear: Fire - especially the wildfires in Australia since he once got caught in one and lost his for a while when he was younger, and he never forget the experience.
Ambitions: He isn't really the sort to think about the future at ALL, but the one thing he has decided on is the fact that he wants to go and live in Australia when he finishes school. That's basically his only long term goal.
Dreams: Again, to go live in Australia. He loves that place. But he also never wants to give up his wild, partying life style.
Best Memory: One particularly good holiday in Australia comes to mind, and he's used it to create a patronus one time. It took the form of a Koala. He doesn't think the animal suits him all that well, and thinks a Kangaroo would have been better, but he wouldn't expect anything less than a Australia create to appear.

- His parents are super religious and he hates the fact. He doesn't like how stupidly religious his name sounds either.
- He regularly sneaks out of school and down to Hogsmeade to drink and party, and he knows where all the best party locations are, even the underground ones.
- He's an in-denial alcoholic but doesn't see the problem yet. He got access to a savings fund his parents set up and wasted that money on drink. His parents don't know about it yet.
- His parents don't know that he drinks and parties and is as rebellious and he is. His dad says he can't wait to buy him his first legal drink. Pft, whatever!
- Despite his love for drinking and partying, nothing can keep him off the Quidditch pitch.
- He has an uncanny ability to annoy the life out of Ravenclaws - they're the easiest to wind up considering that they're the study-o-holics.
- As much as he hates school, he can't wait for September 1st to come around so he can get away from his parents.
- He likes girls and considers himself straight, but when he's had a drink girls become a different species and he's all over guys. He doesn't care and keeps on doing it.
- When he's had a drink he's loud and has absolutely no concept of personal space. He's very physical with people, and can't read how they're feeling towards him.
- If you want someone to break the rules with, Raphael's your guy.
History
Bithplace: Australia | Current Residence: Newcastle |
Parents: David/35/half blood/shop owner Ruth/34/half blood/shop owner | Siblings: Gabriel Elijah/twin/half-blood/deceased |

Raphael and his twin brother, Gabriel, were born far too early in Ruth's pregnancy, and for a while it was very touch and go. They spend a lot of their first few months in hospital, but eventually things started looking up for them. Things took a turn for the worst, though, and Gabriel died August 29th of the same year. Their parents were devastated, and every year since have mourned the death of their son.
Born in Australia, Raphael spent the first few years of his life in the sun, with long hours on the beach and playing in the tide. The small family would often venture across Australia exploring, which included the outback and the big cities. When he was six, however, they moved to England. They settled in the north, in a city called Newcastle, but every summer they would return to Australia for a holiday, visiting friends and family.
Raphael was sure he'd get a letter to go to an Australian school, and was surprised to receive a letter to Hogwarts, but it turned out it wasn't so bad, just not so warm. Since his parents got upset each year around August, Raphael actually couldn't wait to get away to school just to be away from it. He didn't remember his twin at all, so he didn't know how to feel the same mourning that his parents felt, and that they clearly expected from him.
Right from the get-go he was causing trouble, from his very first train ride, and he was already in trouble before he'd even been sorted. He did, however, have the pleasure of putting Hufflepuff ten points in the negative on his first night. That didn't go down too well, but it marked the way for the rest of his Hogwarts career.
His first year consisted of him yawning his way through classes and landing in numerous detentions for not handing in his homework. He also got involved with Quidditch, though he didn't get a change to play first string until his second year.
Once he was on the team there was no stopping him, and his love for the sport grew. The atmosphere of playing in a proper game was like nothing he'd ever experienced before, and he loved it. It was then that he started putting more time into running and staying healthy.
In third year Raphael started to really discover girls, and even had his first girlfriend. It wasn't serious, of course, and didn't last too long either. Especially not when said girlfriend saw him kissing another girl. Despite 'dating' one girl, his first kiss was with another... it didn't go down well. Third year, of course, also meant Hogsmeade, and there was nothing he loved more than getting out of school. He'd often wander the backstreets of the village getting to know the place.
Early in forth year was the first time he slept with someone - an older girl, actually. It was most certainly a turning point in his life because all of a sudden there was absolutely nothing more awesome than sex. He discovered alcohol that year, too, and it was the first time he started sneaking out of school and down to the village.
It wasn't until his fifth year that he had his first drunken encounter with a guy. It freaked him out initially, but he got used to it and stopped caring. What difference did it make? Human was human, and fun was fun.
