Mae Howell, your first year woe

Ewww a first year what do those things even do?

Mae is a first year and still only 11 years old since she is one of the youngest in her year. But don’t let the blonde hair and doe eyed look fool you Mae wasn’t placed in Gryffindor for no reason. Even at a young age Mae was suspended from her primary school for picking fights with other kids she’s not too good with expressing herself with words so if she’s upset you’ll probably find out through a kick to the shin, so watch out!

Generally Mae is friendly and mischievous, she’ll easily be led astray by older students- who suspects a first year after all? Mae is more than willing to help with pranks and find victims she’ll do plenty of things to get in peoples good books but cross her once and you’ll know about it for the rest of your school life with her.

If you don’t mind being sassed by this firecracker ickle step right up, oh and watch what you say about muggleborns around her she’s a little tetchy about the blood hate.

Ideas?:

I've got no big plans just yet but a few ideas of some people that I'd like Mae to encounter:

Someone on the Quidditch team- since finding out about the wizarding world Mae is all about the Quidditch, basically she'd become this kids number one fan!
A trouble maker- At least one prank that Mae could get drawn into would be great.
An order member/student/recruiter~thing-Mae may be young but she's not dumb she knows it's getting dangerous out there and after school she is all about fighting the good fight! This could be just a small mention, maybe someone might think she's too young but tell her her heart is in the right place or maybe someone might just start them young with the ideas- either is good.
Some scary big kid- Maybe she won't try and fight them right off the bat but someone older to test her patience would be good. She likes to push people's buttons so any one wanting their big kid tormenting while their trying to study Mae is your girl!

Why do I feel like my band of morons can fill most of those areas? XD

Firstly: Someone on the Quidditch team
*points to James* He seemed the obvious choice. Same house, which helps. I can see him finding it quite cool having an ickle fan.

A trouble maker: Trouble makers... I think James would also fall into this... maybe Raphael... he's pretty troublesome...

An order member/student/recruiter~thing: Dude, why does the head idiot fit so many of these? Maybe Mary... she's kind enough to tell her that her heart is in the right place, but also not to get into trouble too fast... plus they're both muggleborns.

Some scary big kid: Either of my Snakes?

Secondly:

James: I think the quidditch thing might be the best link.
Mary: Mary likes talking to ickles, so I can deffo see her talking to her. She likes how innocent and unspoiled the young ones are, so she'd encourage her to hold onto her childhood.

Raphael: Raphael is just an all around bad influence, I think... If he's drunk he'd probably say all sorts in front of her that really shouldn't reach such young ears.
Maxxie: I can see him being willing to talk to her, but he's quite placid compared to how feisty she is, so they're quite opposite.

Dominique: She generally can't stand Gryffindors (there is one sort of exception) so she'd instantly take a dislike to Mae and Dominique is quite good at putting on the bully act.
Severus: Severus is like... Mrs Trunchbull in Matilda: 'Children. Glad I never was one'. He can't fathom petty, childish behavior and can't stand being stuck around them for long. These days he's past the point of being nice.

Georgina: Let's hope that Mae never crosses paths with this girl, eh?
Ted: Probably not going to be a lot there, either.

James: The fact she’s a Quidditch captain is a total plus for Mae like bonus points for that. She’s not exactly the person to stalk him to practice she’s too cool for that but if he was chilling anywhere on his own (probably great hall or common room) she’s happily bound over and question him about all the things Quidditch and how supermegafoxy awesome hot he is. Yay team!

Mary: Yay ickle lover, anyone that is nice she’ll like. Also the fact she’s a muggleborn she’ll feel super at ease talking to her. Mary is a Gryffindor too (if I stalked correctly). I was thinking maybe Mae has been on one of her adventures and turns up in the common room covered in mud and leaves and generally is pretty messy but she tries to sneak in and in true Mae style fails.

Raphael: Bad influences welcome. I’d love to see her bump into a drunk Raphael, she’d just be like ‘you smell really funky’ and then he’d probably just be all drunk and she wouldn’t understand what was going on but maybe she should try and help him out, not that she knows where she should take him. Probably she’s take him to Sawyer where ever they decide between them he might be. Just had a moment there thinking that RED might say something like ‘my bed’ but let’s not scar the ickle!

Dominique: Hmmm all I can think of is her picking Mae as a kind of easy target to be mean to and then she’ll probably realise she’s a little tougher than she first thought. Then it could well turn into see how long it take to upset the ickle.

Severus: The perfect person for her to practice her pressing of buttons on. She probably do it in a more public area because she wouldn’t want him to kill her in the dungeons and never be found. Probably follow him to a lesson would be her style.

Georgina: Mae is bouncing around shouting ‘bring it on’ for her own safety I’m just going to say no to this one. I’d like Mae to at least make it to second year, thank you.

Ted: Poor Ted he needs some love, Mae would probably really like the guy too. I will figure something out because he needs the love and posts <3

Maxxie: I think it would be cute for her to be the daredevil one and he’s just going to be super chilled. Maybe she could think she can convert him. She could be attempting some stupid stunt ~Stunt TBA~ and he might have to step in and be all ‘hold up you’re a first year you shouldn’t be doing that.’ But she would probably like him since he seems far from scary, she’ll probably make him her ‘project’ to make him cool.

James: James is up for that He'd be happy to see someone take such a keen interest in it since he loves it so much. He might even offer to show her some stuff out on the pitch.

Mary: I can see Mary being worried about her messes she gets herself into and being all hands on him, 'the look' "Mae..." XD the sort of thing that gets and eye roll and a sarcastic 'yes mother' in return from most people XD that kind of thing lol

Raphael: heck! he'd probably offer her the bottle... he'll probably have lost half of his clothes by then (because this twit always loses them somehow) and he'll probably talk in too much detail about some guy or other. If she told him she was taking him to Sawyer he'd more than likely be making the comment about Sawyer's bed, as to his own... XD

Dominique: The more attitude Mae shows in return, the more it'll make Dominique dislike her, and this gal knows how to be the biatch.

Severus: Oh gawddd it's like Evelyn all over again XDDD He's up for this!

Georgina: Ahhh well. Maybe next year  Truth be told, Georgie wouldn't hurt her. She'd be amused by her. Though how they'd meet I don't know, seeing as Mae's an ickle and can't go into hogsmeade.

Ted: WE NEED A WAY... but how? Like said, she can't go into Hogsmeade...

Maxxie: These two sound cute together. He's really friendly and approachable (he IS a puff in both senses of the word) We should deffo thread these two.

Raphael: Just for the giggles this should happen, she may be a rebel but the kid knows the rules on alcohol (luckily) since he’d probably randomly stop places she would probably end up pulling at his arm or pushing him to try and get him moving again. I could start this one, probably in some hallways somewhere I can imagine it wouldn’t even have to be logical heck if he’s drunk he won’t know where he needs to be.

Dominique: I think it’ll be interesting to see how quickly it takes to get Mae crying, she’s a tough cookie but she’s still eleven. She’ll probably resort to ‘I’m telling my brother!’ and Sawyer will have to deal with the pieces because that’s what he’s there for.

Severus: Mwhahaha Mae is going to love this, this will hopefully be the longest ten minutes of his life XD

Georgina: Well as long as there’s no chance of death. Although she’d probably be a bit warey around her being a big ol’ scary ex-Slytherin and all.

Ted: BOOM! Da Rulez say ‘No Mae you can’t go to Hogsmeade’ but the board is all ‘-whispers: hey but Hope you can posts there when you’re on the ickles profile *winky face*- so it could be more innocent like She wanted a letter posting to her parents and Sawyer forgot to take it so she tries to find him and since she knows she can’t be there she gets all upset about it. Georgina: Mae is just trying to adventure into the forest she’d probably get one heck of a scare bumping into someone else there. She’d probably start all a little quite and scared since there is a random ex-student lurking around but I think she might warm to her, especially if she mentioned her date with Sawyer XD

Ted: Far enough to see the buildings of Hogsmeade and be all, awh hell now what. Maybe he could be fairly near the gates and she might be able to tug his sleeve and ask him to pass it on. He’d probably realise that she was kind of freaking out too and cuteness ensues!

Mae & Vix
Vix is in 6th year and a different house, so my first instinct says there wouldn't be much interaction, but Vix needs more plottage so I'm going to try and stretch my still-half-asleep imagination and come up with something. She's muggleborn, bubbly and cheerful, not the brightest student but she tries, loves art and writing, and is totally obsessed with exercise and eating healthy. I imagine if they were to meet, Vix would find Mae absolutely adorable and be really friendly, but maybe not want too much of her. Kind of like an older sister? Friendly, easy to come to for advice/talking/whatever, but sometimes Mae can be an annoyance if she's busy with other people or doing something else?

Mae & Sirius
To put it lightly, Sirius is quite the troublemaker. He can be good around younger kids if he wants but he mostly sees them as victims, but he also loves to corrupt others. Perhaps the first time they meet he could pull some prank on her or bully her or something, and then find himself being kicked, then he'd be all, I like your attitude kid, and try and lead her down the wrong path. After all someone's got to continue the legacy of pranks and wrongdoings after he's gone xD
