Hey there, you can call me Quetzal. I saw you were in need of a Remus Lupin, and he's one of favourite characters (if not just plain favourite) so I jumped at the chance.
Anyway, I'm an 18-year-old girl from and living in England. Yes, I have the accent, and no, I've never met the Queen. I would say I'm a fairly boring person. I don't have any wish to ever get a tattoo or smoke, and I don't drink much or go partying or clubbing or whatever. I don't even have a Tumblr. I don't feel the need to do any of the typical teenage things, which I suppose might lead some people to believe I'm a mature and sensible kid until they see that I'm actually just as much of an immature idiot as 'kids these days' are supposed to be. Seriously. I am the one who giggles in the corner of a classroom every time the varying penetration power of different forms of ionising radiation is mentioned.
I just thought you should know not to expect anything too exciting. Anyway... I, er, really like physics and maths. Maths is fun, physics is just the best thing. It's so great how everything we know could be wrong and like all of quantum theory is just so interesting and I love it. Seems odd to say 'when I grow up' at my age, but I hope to one day be a professional physicist, maybe a professor, possibly a theoretical physicist. I have been known to, on the rare occasions I do get drunk, rant about physics. This probably contributes to my boringness, and I'm aware that 'theoretical physicist' is not your typical ambition, but there you go. We'll see how it goes. Provided I haven't totally mucked up my exams, I should be going to study physics at university next year. I already got rejected from Cambridge (kinda messed up a question in my interview, and took maths in a year rather than too so didn't have any exam results to show since I hadn't taken any exams) so I don't know how far I can actually go.
As you may have guessed, I can't be concise in the slightest. Sorry if my posts end up disgustingly long. I can be sarcastic at times to, so if I seem like I'm being mean, it's probably just that. I don't like being mean to people.
Yeah, so if anyone wants to say hi or ask questions, please do. I don't want to be the lonely member who doesn't know anyone!
