Inside the castle walls, students return to the familiar routine of the school year; 9am classes, and dorm room gossip, while outside the castle walls the world becomes more and more unpredictable. War is looming. Terror is lurking. Fear is waiting. And one man can not keep reality from breaching the walls... Now everyone is being pressured to pick sides...
Each year, it is the job of the Hogwarts Prefects and Head Students to plan and organize events around the school.
This Halloween, they have opted for a Haunted House experience on the grounds!
Upon exiting the castle, you will be greeted by a low lying fog, separating into a clear path
that leads you to a dilapidated house, with the trees of the Forbidden forest looming behind it.
Many horrors await you inside of the Haunted House of Horrors!
There is, of course, a catch! The Marauders (courtesy of the fact that James and Remus have been involved in the planning!)
have taken this opportunity to add a few extra tricks, treats, and scares to the house, so tread carefully within.
This is, optionally, a dice game to keep things exciting! More info will be provided.
Giant Pumpkin Carving!
It simply wouldn't be Halloween without Hagrid's giant pumpkins! This year, however, it's up to the students to get
involved in carving some pumpkins up. Battle through the fog and make your way to the Gamekeeper's Hut - you'll
recognize it for it's orange glow. All the tools and carving equpitment you need are waiting for you, so don't
miss your chance to create a pumpkin masterpiece!
Candy Costume Party!
Halloween requires costumes. It also requires sweets and candy. Therefore, it's only right we throw a candy costume party!
This year, Honeydukes are providing the treats - all of your familiar favorites and a few new, slightly bizarre ones
to try out.
Slugs, Bugs, Warts, and Bones, whether you want a Slimy Slug Sour, or a Freaky Finger Fruit Pop, Honeydukes
has provided everything your could ask for!
So put on your best costume and work up a sweet tooth, then join us in the Great Hall for a Sugar and Spice,
All Things Scary and Nice Candy Costume Dance!
Ryan considers himself to be gender queer/ gender fluid. He absolutely does not identify as female, despite being born in a female body, but doesn't 100% identify as male, though he does prefer male pronouns, dressing like a boy, and being called Ryan. He was known as Araya when he started school and a lot of people won't accept him as Ryan 'the boy', they just act like he's a really weird girl, and don't respect his choice of gender pronouns or name, which really pisses him off. And people wonder why he's reserved and distant? Pft!
True friends are few and far between for Ryan. Friends are people who can respect his identity and accept him for who he is, and who don't make a joke out of his life. True, honest, and kind. And Ryan will show that same compassion back to you that you show to him. Don't break his trust. He won't give you a second chance.
Enemies might be a bit of a stretch. Serious dislike may be better fitting. There are a lot of people who don't respect Ryan's choices or identity, who find themselves straight in his dislike book. He can come across as cold and closed off, but that's because it's hard to trust people who just accept him for who he is.
Lovers... It's complicated. Thinking about it, Ryan sort of likes girls more. Not to say he likes girls exclusively, but he likes them more. He feels that it would make him straight to like girls, but a lot of people would disagree, and quote his birth sex to him, calling him a lesbian. Whatever. He doesn't care. He likes girls more.
Ryan and Sirius Not sure how they'd ever interact, but if it happened, Sirius is a pretty open and accepting guy, so as long as Ryan didn't get on his nerves for some reason or another, he wouldn't treat him poorly. He'd probably find his identity weird, but not treat him like a freak for it or deny it or anything. At the same time though, Sirius has zero boundaries, so he would be the first to make jokes of Ryan. So they probably couldn't be friends, but at least not enemies. Again though, I don't even know how they'd ever cross paths xD
Ryan and Addie Addie is also quite accepting, so she'd be friendly, but not make jokes like Sirius would xP. I think she wouldn't be too different than Sirius, though. Age difference and house difference makes it difficult to be like friends, but not enemies either. If he comes off as cold and unfriendly, then she may be wary.
Ryan and Dex Same age, so they've got to know each other. Dex hasn't got a mean bone in his body, so he couldn't make fun if he tried. The identity would just be another thing to make Dex uncomfortable and awkward, probably. Like most people, he'd probably just try to avoid Ryan and only interact if they had to. So maybe, because of this, Ryan thinks that Dex is one of those people who strongly dislikes him?
Ryan and Charlie Okay, one of my characters HAS to be mean. The other three are too nice. Charlie hates everyone, so he'd probably just use Ryan's identity as an excuse to hate him.
Ryan and Sirius Eh, it'd probably just be a random encounter kind of thing. Ryan drinks/smokes to feel numb, so he could easily catch her drinking or something. Other than that I'm not really sure how they'd come to meet... We'd have to see how things play out to see how far that dislike might extend.
Ryan and Addie Ryan generally assume people will have crap to say about him and throws them the cold shoulder, at least until he's had a chance to see what they're going to be like. He'd be no different with Addie, but if she doesn't come across as a prick he'd ease up a bit and be less cold, even if still wary himself.
Ryan and Dex Ooh, this one could be really interesting to play out. He'd definitely think Dex was just another prick who didn't respect her identity, and would probably have a few barbs to throw his way if faced with him.
Ryan and Charlie Oof, yeah... these would not end well, I'm sure. XD
