CJ is something of a 'typical guy' with a love of sports and being active. He spends a lot of his time out on the Quidditch Pitch, and if he's not there, he can just as likely be found elsewhere on the grounds working out these days, trying to bulk up. It's a slight obsession for him. But, being so active, it's starting to show, even though he's still young. He's tall and looking decently well build these days - his muscles are starting to form some real definition, which is something he intends to work on over the following years. In some ways, he thinks he's starting to look older than his age, but that's hardly a bad thing. He'd rather that than be one of those tiny, scrawny guys who seem to look thirteen until they turn twenty.
His hair is pretty ordinary and usually kept short, but he does like to keep a slight amount of length on the front so he can spike it up. It makes him look older than just having his hair flat to his head, and admit it, flat hair is not cool. Needless to say, he takes a bit of time on his appearance on a morning, even if it's just to rub some gel on his hair and make it spike up messily.
When it comes to clothes, he is quite into style and fashion, and he's more likely to wear something with a label on it than something that was cheap. Usually, he looks pretty well dressed with shirts and jackets and stuff, but that doesn't mean he won't opt for a t-shirt or jumper one day. Usually, whatever he wears shows off his physique, which is something he probably does more subconsciously than knowingly.
CJ has a few small scars, some from sporting accidents, some from doing stupid, daring things, and some from fighting. Thankfully, though, they're not the most obvious scars, and they don't stand out too much. When he's older, CJ intends to get a tattoo. He hasn't got any so far, but they're definitely on the agenda.

As said, CJ is of a 'typical' guy. He loves playing Quidditch and has been on the Ravenclaw team since early in his first year. As well as Quidditch, he enjoys mostly anything that allows him to be active and doing stuff. He can very frequently be found somewhere outside working out and letting off steam.
Whenever anything gets to him emotionally the only way he knows to vent and let it out, is to find a physical output. Whether that means working out until he's so fatigued he can't do anymore, or whether it means punching a wall or something, he just needs an outlet. Preferably, though, he'd rather the work out option. He's generally quite good at keeping himself in check, but if someone manages to really tick him off, he has been known to react with fists.
CJ likes girls. He's a typical teenage boy, so why wouldn't he? He does, admittedly, have some rather overactive hormones, so it's really not his fault if he finds a number of girls attractive. He's at the age where he wants to date girls, but he also wants to be able to date a lot of them - or at least, make out with a lot of them.
With a bit of convincing, CJ was persuaded to join the dueling club, and as a result, he's pretty nifty with his wand work. In fact, he's one of the top in the club, which is something he's actually quite proud of, despite the fact he'd initially thought that Dueling club was like... the dorky club for the oddballs and the weirdos. Turns out, that title belongs to chess club. He doesn't do that. No chance. Okay, that's a lie. He does. He just doesn't tell anyone about it, turns up only when he feels like it, and sort of maybe terrifies the other members into never telling anyone they've seen him there...
CJ likes active classes that involve wand work and stuff like that, whereas the boring ones - like History of Magic, for example - bore him endlessly. He's capable of them, sure, but he doesn't enjoy them and doesn't do quite as well in them as he should be capable of doing. It's not unusual to find him in the library or other study areas, actually, because he does take his school work seriously.
Long term, he doesn't really have much of a clue what he wants to do with himself, but he knows that, at least for a while, he wants an active job, not one that leaves him stuck in an office all day. If he can get out and be physically doing something, that's better for him. He can't imagine playing Quidditch full time, but he hasn't exactly ruled out the possibility... Every boy's dream, isn't it?

History
Bithplace: Brighton | Current Residence: Brighton |
Parents: Sandra/age/Half-blood/Unemployed Arthur/age/Pureblood/Ministry Worker | Siblings: Charlotte Samantha 'Sammy'/Eleven/Half-Blood/Ravenclaw |
Others: N/A | Pet: Eagle Owl - Aphrodite |
CJ is the oldest of two children born to Sandra and Arthur Warren. His younger sister, Charlotte Samantha Warren (better known to her friends as 'Sammy'), is a first year at the school. The two of them are fairly close, and if one thing is for sure, he's very protective, and that will only get worse when she reaches the age of boys and dating.
The pair of them grew up just off the coast of Brighton, and each day their father, a pureblood wizard, would travel into London to work. He worked for the Ministry, and spent a lot more time there than he did with his family. In fact, CJ has very few good memories of him. It's only been since he turned fourteen that his father has really started paying attention to him - an age at which his father feels it appropriate to start discussing work, and what CJ will do when he leaves school. But talking business doesn't constitute a very good father/son relationship.
Their mother, on the other hand, a half blood witch, was the one who was a lot more involved in her children's lives. When they were little she'd take them out almost daily (when they weren't at muggle school, that is) and quite often they spent long days at the beach or at the local swimming baths. CJ grew up swimming, so it was of no surprise to anyone when he wanted to take surfing lessons when he was a little older.
Despite Arthur's work ethic, they almost always went away on holiday over the summer months, although Arthur usually managed to make it fit in with his work schedule, and once the family were settled at whatever place they were staying, he'd vanish off for a few days at a time to conduct 'important business meetings' with various foreign officials. A lot of the time, CJ got a lot of freedom to do what he wanted while away, and if they were somewhere sunny and coastal, that usually meant long days in the water, honing his skills on some real waves.
The summer before he was set to start Hogwarts he found himself waiting impatiently for the post each morning, hoping that would be the day that his letter would arrive. He wanted to get to Diagon Alley and buy a wand, already! He wanted to read his textbooks! He wanted to know what he'd be learning! He wanted the advantage over the other students by having already read ahead...
Right from the get-go CJ was involved in Quidditch at school, but he also had the work ethic of a Ravenclaw (rightly so) and would spend a lot of time studying and making sure he was caught up on all his classes and the requirements of them. During his first year he was definitely a nerdy kid, without a doubt. He was a bit of a swat and was always answering questions in class when he could. He loved earning house points.
In second year he was much the same, and was still a bit of a nerdy kid who was always ahead in class. It was in his second year that he was persuaded to join the dueling club, and despite his initial protests, he finally agreed to it. He'd never admit it, but it was way more awesome that he thought it would be, and it's helped improve his wand skills loads.
By third year, CJ was starting to become more body-conscious and was putting more and more of his time into training and working out, using his time to keep fit rather than read ahead in class. He still put a lot of effort into his classes, but he wasn't quite so nerdy about it anymore. More and more of his time was spend outside as the year passed and he wants nothing more than to get in shape and be muscular like he sees in some of the older guys - he wants to be in great shape with abs and awesome muscles to flex and just.. all of that! He's pretty determined he's going to work till he sees some real results this year.
